Winter is (almost!) here. It’s practically upon

Winter is (almost!) here. It’s practically upon us now—frigid, with a chill that goes straight to the bone. 🥶

Just because it’s cold and dark doesn’t mean your body can’t thrive this season. It can ABSOLUTELY thrive.

Here are some things that will help you thrive this season:

1. Nourishing foods. Even if we want to indulge in comfort foods (hello? Me!), your body also craves those fruits and vegetables. 😋

2. Water. I don’t know about you, but the cold, dry air turns my skin into reptile skin. Drinking more water will help keep your skin hydrated.

3. Adequate sleep + rest. I mean, the data backs this one (actually, all of them). Sleep is important. We need it. It’s OK to not always be productive. In fact, did you know that it’s actually NOT normal to always be productive? 😉

4. Connection. Human beings need other human beings. Surround yourself with quality humans who don’t drain your energy.

5. Be your own cheerleader. Lift yourself up! Your body really does want to thrive and survive. It wants to work with you, not against you.

6. Dancing. There has never been a time when dancing left me in a piss poor mood. Instead, it continuously lifts me up.

Go easy on yourself. 🫶🏻
