    18 years together. 8 years since we renewed our vo 18 years together. 8 years since we renewed our vows in Tuscany. And this weekend, we quietly celebrated another anniversary of that perfect, imperfect, absolutely magical day. In 2018, we took 20 of our closest friends and family to a villa I found on Airbnb-one that didn’t have the best photos online, but something in me just knew. We took a leap of faith, and it became one of the most meaningful weeks of our lives. We swam. We did yoga in the mornings. We took day trips to Venice and Florence. We cooked and ate together, played games, and stayed up late just being together. There was almost no cell service, we were on top of a mountain in Londa, Italy, and so we put our phones away and were truly present. The day of the wedding itself was 100 degrees, and it was also perfect. The magic of that weekend rippled for months. For all of us. I don’t share much of our personal life here, I value privacy, but I wanted to share a glimpse of who we are and what we believe: that the experience of gathering matters. That you don’t need a big guest list or an insane budget to create something unforgettable. Everything we did was intentional. From the shared meals to the custom art pieces we gave as favors, each one with a quote I chose for that person, something they could take home and keep. Because the experience is the root from which everything else grows. Oh, and my dad was there- alive and well. 🥰Little did we know then that our time with him was getting shorter. I’m so happy we got him on a plane and out of the country for the first time in his life and that he got to see the coliseum, Pompeii, and walk his only daughter down the aisle.
