Chris & Katie’s mountain engagement shoot

We became instant friends with Chris & Katie. We spent a few hours with them on a warm winter day hiking Hawk Mountain for their mountain engagement shoot, making and capturing memories. We had hoped for snow, but what we got instead was a beautiful 75 degree day with a killer sunset. It really was perfect and we wouldn’t have changed a thing.  That and they look like they should be models for L.L. Bean.

We find that we often finish our shoots around dusk and end up hiking back to our cars in the dark. So many great conversations happen with our couples during that time.  We are definitely people people and we find getting to know our couples brings us great joy.

Now that we are in engagement shoot season and are just about in full blown wedding season, we are excited to capture and create more stories of love this year. We are very much looking forward to Katie & Chris’s wedding at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels.
