I could sit here and write about this wedding all day. We’ve been wanting to share this wedding for so long. It’s been published in the fall/winter issue of The Knot, maybe you’ve seen it. Amanda and Matt got married in the fall at Barn on Bridge in Collegeville. They have great style and when we first met with them, we just jived with their energy.

We got along so well that we ended up becoming good friends. The Universe is good like that. It introduces you to people that bring an incredible impact and beauty to your life.

Their wedding was filled with everything we always hope for when photographing a wedding. You could just feel the love and joy in your bones. One of our favorite wedding photos ever was taken at this wedding, during their recessional. You’ll know it when you see it.

Not only did this wedding style sing to my own personal ears, but Amanda wore a dress by my favorite wedding dress designer, Rue De Seine. Their dresses are made for the boho beauties that wear them.

Keep scrolling, there are birds!

Their first look was at Ott’s exotic plants. For any fellow plant lovers, you need to visit this place, it’s amazing. Their first look was just as magical as the rest of their day. It was emotional had all the feels. We always tell our couples that out of all days to allow yourself to feel the emotions, your wedding day should be that day. When you put yourself in a space to allow yourself to feel those emotions, magic just happens and we want that magic in our images.

I remember sitting in the hair salon when Matt called me. He had told me that Amanda loves owls and she’s always felt this connection to them. He said he knew a guy that could bring owls to the wedding for her and asked if I thought it was a good idea. I was like, Umm…yes, call that guy back right now, she is going to freak! And she did and it was beautiful.

Their families are so important to them and witnessing the little connections throughout the day was a really heartfelt thing to see and photograph.
