I feel like there is so much I could write about this wedding. I’ll start by saying that we met Randy and Jackie for the first time on their wedding day. We emailed each other and I had an idea of what to expect with Jackie, but Michael and I were still nervous on the day of the wedding before meeting them. After meeting them and spending the day with them, if I had to choose one word that describes them as people and as a couple, I would choose “Awesom-rific“. That word would also sum up the wedding party as well as pretty much the entire day.
Randy and Jackie have been together for 8 years, they’ve been together so long that all their friends are mutual friends and know each other very well. When around them, you can absolutely sense the closeness of the entire group. One thing is, they are not shy and were down for anything. There was also a lot of butt grabbing going on throughout the day…I’m not entirely sure what to make of that, haha. We give a big thanks to Randy, Jackie and their family and friends for being amazing to work with and for being completely nuts. If it wasn’t for you, our bloopers folder would have a few less images =0) Which reminds me, I still owe a dance to one of the groomsmen, whoops. Although, I’m pretty sure it was Michael you really wanted to dance with, and if so, just ask, I’ll kindly share. Next time, lol
Their wedding was held less than 10 minutes from our house at the John James Audubon Center. This has been the second wedding we’ve done here and I still love it. Not only is the space amazing, but the food by Jeffrey A. Miller Catering was delicious. We’ll be shooting here again with another upcoming wedding this summer, stay tuned.
Best of luck to Randy and Jackie as they continue their journey to California. Below are some images from the wedding. For more images, please check out their slideshow.
