MEET MELISSA.

Hello and welcome! I’m Melissa, a multi-passionate creative with a heart full of love for my family, nature, animals, and dancing. I’m deeply connected to the beauty of the world around me and the stories that unfold within it.

Fun fact, I’m also an embodiment coach, guiding women to reconnect with their power and embrace their authentic selves. I am a girls’ girl, believing that when women elevate other women, we create a beautiful, powerful, and healing energy that the world desperately needs.

Why do I photograph weddings? Simply put, I’m captivated by love and the stories that unfold on a wedding day. I’m there to elevate your wedding experience, creating space for you and your loved ones to feel and be fully present. My goal is to capture the raw, beautiful moments that make your day truly yours. I want you to feel seen, celebrated, and deeply connected to your most authentic self.

My photography is real and rooted in connection. I aim to capture the essence of your love, ensuring that when you look at your images, you feel the magic and emotion of the moment, just as I did when I took them.

MEET MICHAEL.

Talking about myself? Not my favorite thing. But the things I do love? Human connection, deep conversations, traveling with my family, reading, helping others, and making art.

Melissa and I started M2 over 16 years ago, and through this work, we’ve had the privilege of documenting incredible stories and meeting some of the most amazing couples. I can honestly say I love what I do for a living. Photography, to me, isn’t just about taking pictures, it’s about preserving energy, emotion, and connection in a way that feels honest and lasting.

As a father, I often think about the day my own daughters will get married. That perspective shapes how I approach weddings. I don’t just want to document what happens; I want to capture how it feels. Weddings are made up of the in-between moments – glances, laughter, quiet pauses, and those small but powerful connections that might otherwise go unnoticed. My goal is to preserve them as they are, so that when you look back, you’re transported right back to that moment in time.

Since Melissa has a fun fact section in her bio, I’m following her lead! Outside of weddings, I have a deep love for creating large-scale chalk drawings. Temporary art that I document before erasing and moving on to the next. Along with Melissa, I also photograph our daughters every single day as part of what we call the AB Project, a passion project we’ve been dedicated to for nearly 18 years. Beyond art and photography, I stay connected to my community by serving on nonprofit boards, always looking for ways to give back, create impact, and support causes that matter.

We’re both deeply connected to our family, with two beautiful daughters who inspire everything we do. Whether it’s traveling, reading, making art, or simply enjoying good conversation, our lives are rooted in the things that matter most.

We started M2 16 years ago, and through our work, we’ve had the privilege of photographing some of the most beautiful love stories. We’re lucky to do what we love every day – creating meaningful, emotional, and energy-filled imagery for couples who want to remember their day exactly as it felt.
