I think it’s safe to say that this weekend’s record breaking temperatures had us all feeling like a baked potato rapped in foil. Friday being the hottest day of the weekend. Minutes after stepping outside, a wet film would develop over your skin. BUT in a more positive note…we survived, so did Mike and Jen and all of their guests. Despite the blazing temperatures, the day was wonderful. I did not hear one complaining word come out of Mike or Jen’s mouth the entire time during portraits, real troopers! I’m also glad we decided to bring along our portable fan/water mister. It helped us all!
Mike and Jen are a really sweet couple. They have a ton of chemistry which made for beautiful pictures. They didn’t mind getting close to one another (which is a good thing being married and all, lol) but even when it felt like 115 degrees outside with their sweaty heads, arms, hands, well everything. They remained close.
There entire wedding was held at the Holly Hedge Estate in New Hope, Pa. A gorgeous venue that we love to shoot at. The reception entertainment was held by Imagine Entertainment, Inc. He played great music from the beginning and I liked him even more when he played (and danced to) my favorite, Florence and the Machine!
With all that being said, thank you Mike, Jen, and wedding party for putting up with us in the heat!!

Happy Monday ya’ll!

Great Pictures …. Great Wedding!! Even the record breaking heat couldn’t take away from a sensational day. Two wonderful people have made one amazing couple!! Mike & Melissa did a super job being in the right spot for these pictures, but never in the way of the fun and action. Can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures.
