I’m convinced that we work with the coolest couples.  How many people would be willing to get up really early in the morning, in the winter, for their engagement shoot?  In whole, probably not many, HOWEVER, we have so many couples that are down with whatever we suggest.   Winter sunrise shoots are not ideal for most, and we do give options to our couples.  They do not have to do a sunrise shoot.  But we are thrilled when they come back excited for something different, something fun.

Why do we love sunrise shoots so much?

1.) The lighting is epic (most times)

2.) It’s cold…they are forced to keep each other warm, thus bringing them close together.

3.) Most people find it so crazy stupid, and it is, but because of that, there is a lot of laughter and fun moments

5.) Less onlookers.  Not that I ever care about other people watching around us, but with less people, our couples are much more in the moment.  It’s so much easier to block out everything, including the 2 crazy photographers.

4.) It’s not typical or normal.  If you know us, that kinda sums us up.

Enjoy!!

**btw…you pronounce Mireille’s name like this {MIR-RAY}…  ;0)

xoxo

Melissa.

We stand there, waiting patiently for the sun to rise, as we pray for some feeling to come back into our hands and toes.  🙂

How cute are both of these couples?  Yes, these french bulldogs are too very much in love, haha.
