What can I possibly even say about this wedding? To be honest, I really don’t have to say anything. The pictures will show just how amazing it was. But it would be strange of me to not write anything at all, right? Besides, I have so much that I could say. ;0)
Brittan and Steve got married in the small town of Hammondsport, NY. Brittan’s family bought this property, which had an amazing barn on it. They renovated it and had a wedding! And may I add that it looks absolutely stunning! They did such an incredible job. This barn is equipped with it’s very own kitchen (which is a ridiculously amazing kitchen). This barn also has it’s own bar.
Our associate photographers Tom and Joy shot this wedding for us and I’m so happy they got the chance to travel to Hammondsport. They did such an awesome job. We are so lucky to have them on our team.
To everyone who helped make this wedding day what is was, you did such a great job. Brittan, you looked absolutely lovely. And we are so happy for you and Steve. Enjoy the rest of your lives together you crazy lovebirds!
They even have a road sign in their name. This makes me want to buy one for our small driveway.
This wedding is a straight up dream wedding for me. Who wouldn’t love shooting in a barn. Also, I’m a huge fan of mismatched furniture and this wedding had it all. {String lights, a big ole’ lake, mismatched furniture, barn)…
Hammondsport, NY., is the home of Bully Hill Winery. Which just happens to be our favorite wine. We had no idea that their house was so close to the winery. Brittan just so happened to see a picture I posted on Instagram of a Bully Hill wine bottle. Hashtaging it of course #bestwineever. She then told me how close the winery was to their house in NY and that their rehearsal dinner was going to be at the winery. How awesome is that? Just another reason why we were a match made in Heaven! One reason I love this wine so much…their labels. They have the coolest labels! You’ll notice that part of their decor included a bunch of different Bully Hill wine bottles, with different labels, all with a sunflower.
Keuka Lake is gorgeous!! I wouldn’t mind waking up to this view every day!
Hey Steve, that ring there looks good on that finger!
These chandeliers…. {heart is bursting with love for these chandeliers}
I love their use of burlap, wooden plates and utensils, torn menus and sunflowers.
I love this entrance shot!
Doesn’t this make you want to buy a barn? Or maybe just get married in a barn.
Perhaps they’ll hold more weddings there ;0) With M2 being their preferred photographer of course, haha.
Happy Thursday!
Melissa.
Melissa, Michael, Tom & Joy:
I cannot thank you guys enough. Tears were just streaming down my face as I scrolled through these pictures and re-lived this day. You all did a FABULOUS job capturing every moment. You are the best! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! xoxo
M2, You did a wonderful job capturing the spirit of the barn and the day!! Thanks for sharing!
Brittan and Steve: it was such an honor to be part of your unique and special day! Thank you for not only trusting us but also welcoming us like special guests. We had an absolute blast! You have an amazing family and group of friends. I wish you and Steve all the good things in your new life together!
Do they do weddings still at this location? I am looking for a barn in the area and this is exactly what I have been looking for!
It’s a private home. I wish they did 🙂
Absolutely beautiful! I grew up on Keuka Lake and my family has a cottage there that was my great grandparents. I am getting married next year, and would absolutely LOVE to have my wedding reception here….my heart is part of that lake…would be so amazing!!!!
