Last October, I photographed my first BeePie event hosted by Belovely Floral Designs, Maggpie vintage rentals, and True Beauty Marks. It was amazing to say the least. I had the opportunity to photograph nine beautiful ladies, all ranging in age and size. Photographing women is one of my most favorite areas of photography. It gives me the opportunity to get to know other amazing ladies. It allows me to see who they are as people, to capture that beauty, and to deliver something that would make their confidence stronger and any insecurities smaller.
Too often we overlook our own beautiful qualities, while others see them every day. Being photographed by someone other than your iphone set to selfie mode, allows that person to document the beauty they see. There is something really nice about seeing yourself through another person’s eyes.
What I love most about BeePie is that it can be whatever you want it to be. If you want more boudoir style photos, we can do that. If you want to have a mom/daughter session, we can do that. We can do maternity , we can basically make it whatever it is you envision. This workshop can be for girlfriends who just need a day to do something creative and pamper themselves while sipping on some mimosas. It can be for mom and daughters who are due for a mother/daughter date. It can be for someone solo who needs to step out of their comfort zone and wants to meet other ladies. It can be for future brides and past brides. It can be for sisters that want to do something together. It is a workshop that caters to everyone, that is fun and therapeutic at the same time.
The next BeePie event is on 3/16 at the Horticulture center in Philadelphia. It’s the most beautiful space and a space that I feel extremely drawn to. When I walk into that greenhouse, I’m in my element.
Don’t miss out! xoxo
