Hi there! I’m Melissa. Co-owner of this studio of mighty photographers.
I am a joy and beauty seeker. Within those two things, I find a lot of heart. I believe heart (love) is what makes this life worth living. It’s also what the world needs most. My imagery is emotion-driven- filled with love + joy, and rooted in soul. I want you to feel as moved when looking at your images as I am taking them. I have the true honor of witnessing that magic unfold.
Why do I photograph weddings for a living? Short answer, I love it. I pour my heart into it. Long answer, I love people, human connection, and as cheesy as it sounds, I love, love. I also love a good celebration and a high-energy dance floor.
The things I love most in life are my family, my maniac animals, music, dancing, and exploring this beautiful planet we live on.

Things I don’t like; talking about myself! Things I do like; human connection, good conversation, hanging with my daughters, traveling with my family, reading, helping others, and making art.
We started M2 fifteen years ago and this art has given us the opportunity to photograph the most amazing stories and meet the most amazing couples. Not everyone can say they love what they do for a living, but I can. I think being a father and knowing that one day our two daughters will be getting married, has inspired how I photograph weddings. I photograph weddings how I would want their wedding to be photographed. Full of energy, emotion, and meaningful moments of connection with loved ones.
