As a beginner photographer, I loved going out and finding fun things to take pictures of but would DREAD coming home and processing my photos. I even took a ton of photos at a friends housewarming party in November and they were still waiting to be processed in January. All of the buttons and controls in the editing program were so intimidating! After taking the Learn to Edit class, I feel much more confident processing my photos and finally got those housewarming photos processed!

M2′s editing workshop has helped turn my “meh” pictures into good, and my good into great. Michael and Melissa are fun and easy-going–you almost forget you’re actually learning something.

I took M2′s editing workshop to learn how to process the photographs I was taking on my DSLR. Up until I took the workshop, I had done what I could to educate myself online and through books on the best techniques, tips and tricks. However, I couldn’t tell well enough on my own whether or not I was doing a good job. Additionally, while my husband’s enthusiastic exclamations of “that’s great!” were somewhat encouraging, I felt I needed some schooling.

We received a packet with all the points Michael was going to cover so we didn’t even need to take notes! We covered each point and were given sample photos to work on as we learned each section of Adobe Lightroom, and we even got feedback as we did some editing ourselves at the end of class.

I feel so much more confident in my processing abilities now, and look forward to getting my photos on the computer to edit! I recommend this workshop to anyone who’s looking for guidance on how to process their digital photos!
