Blog: Photobooth

Photobooth Wedding Fun

Everyone loves a photobooth!  It’s true!  It’s kinda like pringles, I guess.  Once you pop, you can’t stop sort of thing.

Below are some shots from Natalie & Josh’s photobooth.  I’m so glad they decided to add one..it was definitely a hit and it’s so great to see people let loose and just have fun with it.

A special thanks to our associate photographer Tom for running the booth.  He’s pretty awesome.

Interested in adding a booth to your wedding, email me for the 411 :)

Happy Thursday!

Melissa.

Chita & Yana pt. 2 | Photobooth

You must be getting sick of us after 6 blog posts this week ;0)  Our last post for the week is part 2 of Yana & Chita’s wedding.  Their photobooth!

I love photobooths, for the obvious reason, they’re fun!  Everyone had a blast with it (including Tom, Michael and I).  Then again, how can you not enjoy yourself while wearing silly props, making funny pictures?!

We’ve selected a bunch for the blog (but not all of them), no worries, you all will be able to download the images once they are finished =0)  I’m going to keep this nice and short and cut to the chase!

Happy Friday, Enjoy!

Russian Horseradish Vodka anyone?!

Haha, I love this shot!  Good job boys!

Yes, he is one of us…of course he was going to join in on the fun.  I wouldn’t expect otherwise!

The best part of this picture below?  The nose creeping in from the top left!

Even the security guard posed!

There ya go… =0)

M2 Holiday Party | Photobooth

Take a 10 minute break from whatever you may be doing.  This is a long post, more pictures and less talking =0).

Below is the second portion of our party, the photobooth.  For our backdrop, we thought we’d try something a little different than what we normally use.  Instead of using a white backdrop, we used a stenciled wall in our studio.  Michael and I painted this wall maybe 2 weeks ago.  After the wall was finished and no one killed each other in the process, I consider our marriage solid, lol.

I decided to keep the post on a P-G 13(ish) level.  Some of you may be disappointed, you all put very creative thoughts into your poses, LOL…but for your fancy, I’ll post those pictures in a private gallery for you all.

First before we get to the photobooth, I’d like to share some pictures of our new home studio.

Tada!

Just kidding…that isn’t our studio.  I mean, technically it is, but before we got our hands on it.  Below is our new and improved studio space.

There you have it.  It’s not completely finished, but for a 5 week transformation…not too shabby.

Onto the last part of our post…the part in which most of you reading have been waiting for.  Enjoy!

Erica & Bill…what’s on May 5th?  ;0)

And do you remember Jenna & Anthony?  Hehe.

What makes this picture even better is the fact that I completely forgot to take the tag off, haha.  Whopps!

These 3 make any photobooth more fun.  Joann, our last 2011 wedding.  To bad her husband, Emir couldn’t make it, he’s working and living in Texas.  Susie, her sister, and Dan, Susie’s husband.  We photographed their engagement session a few years ago.  Not their wedding though, touchy subject.  HAHA…kidding guys! We’re tight (and now practically neighbors).

Introducing the Beibs.  Joann has a borderline unhealthy obsession with Beibs (haha).  He made it into the photobooth at her wedding and now she stepped it up a notch.  What an awesome surprise.  After this photobooth, we too are now fans.

Elena & Maria, not clients, but special friends <3

Marc& Jess.  Again, not clients, but friends and workshop models, lol.  Maybe one day… =0)  No pressure Marc!

Denise & Anthony…..and Justin Beiber.  Clearly they had Beiber fever! Denise & Anthony are a 2012 couple of our associates Tom & Jen.  We were already booked on their date (insert frown face), but Lordy Lordy, we love them.

Michael needed to get his fix since it won’t be him and I doing this on their wedding day, haha.

Cailen & Craig.  This is a great look on them =0)  That pink hat would have gone great with her pink dress….

Lauren & Dave!  Apparently Justin couldn’t handle not being in a few shots…what a camera hog!

I think Yana was grinding on him or something…

Hey now, clearly everyone had Beiber fever!!!! Meet Jen!  She’s probably the most outgoing person I’ve ever met.  Her husband Matt couldn’t make it to the party (sick baby).  Being that they are a super cool couple, Matt went to an earlier arrangement and Jen came to ours.  I would post a link to their wedding, but their wedding was one of our first 5 weddings and was posted on our very first blog.  We shot their engagement back in 2008 and their wedding in 2009.

Haha, doesn’t it look like she’s being sneaky with Justin in the corner?

Cailen’s a yoga teacher….which can help explain this picture. lol.

Josh & Heather (and Hunter).  Now, not only do I have Beiber fever, I also have baby fever  =0)  None of which Michael is happy about, haha.  (thanks Heather)

Yana & Chita, whose wedding we’ll be shooting this April.  We’ve known them for a couple years and we couldn’t be happier that they chose us to document their wedding day!

Everything before this was just warm up, now the real feelings come out, haha.

Poor Beibs…when I talked about keeping it PG-13..this is where I did it.

I was stretching.

I’m still stretching…a photobooth can be very strenuous.  I didn’t want to throw my back out.

This entire look is just wrong.

Joann, I’m still jealous that you can wear a fro and still look awesome.

I guess you just had to be there.  I certainly do not remember what we were talking about.

So, you remember Tom……..our associate and this is his preferred attire on a wedding day, HAHA.  I’m just kidding, he doesn’t wear red feather boas to shoot weddings….it would get wrapped around the camera strap.

and this is how close you can expect him to be on your wedding day….(again…I tell jokes).

I don’t think they realized they had chosen the same colors, lol.  Or who knows, maybe they did and color coordinated their outfits…

Bahahaha!

Haha…I’m so sorry Ben!

Ben & Michelle…aren’t they cute?

Okay…now this one has me stumped.  Either Michelle is smelling my armpit or taking a power nap on my furry vest, OR maybe I did actually have her in a headlock (all could be possible).  I couldn’t talk to anyone without smacking them in the face with that nose.

Meet Tiph, she’s the best Mac N cheese baker I know.

Quick….close your eyes!!!!

Ahh it was probably too late, wasn’t it?

In this picture (above), I just like that Tiph is standing there all cute with her “he puts up with me sign” as he’s walking away, haha.

That’s what I like to call me being bi-polar.

Did he get it?

no, but it looked cool.

Thanks again to everyone that came out and again for those who didn’t, we all (including Justin Beiber) missed you!

Now…what to do with Justin Beiber?  We were going to hold this cutout for ransom and make it’s owner come back the next day to clean…well they never showed up to clean and now he is ours.  One thing he is good for is being used as a dog gate.  Mr. Ugglesworth is terrified of him and so if we don’t want him in a certain room, we’ll stick Beibs in there.  Therefore, Uggs will stay far away from that room.  For the first day, he pretty much hid himself in a corner and was afraid to come out…poor guy.

For now, we’ll tuck him away in a safe place until the time is right…  =0)

TaTa for now (a new wedding post coming next week =)
