Hey! We are Michael & Melissa (M2), wedding and lifestyle photographers in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. A suburb of Philadelphia. We specialize in wedding photography and modern portraiture. We serve Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, Houston, TX, as well as destination locations.
A few things about us…we are married. Yes we are a husband and wife photography team. How does that work out? Well actually, it works out perfectly for us. We love what we do, we spend time with the most amazing bride and grooms and meet some great people along the way. On top of that, we get to do this together. Really it’s a win win ;0)
We have twin daughters who mean the world to us. Our little family also includes their (and I mean our) dog, a pug, whose name is Mr. Ugglesworth. Most of our clients that we meet, end up swooning over him. He’s handsome and a showoff.
We love to travel. We also love shooting destination weddings, but who wouldn’t? When we are not shooting weddings or editing images, we are either playing in our backyard with our kids or painting in our craft room.
If there are 2 things I could say that are most important to us, they are; family time and appreciating and making the most out of our time together and keeping our clients happy.
Keeping our clients happy isn’t something we take lightly. We believe each couple should have a great deal of personal attention from their photographer, not just on the wedding day. We want no communication barriers between us and our clients. Besides creating beautiful imagery on their wedding day, we also want them to have an overall wonderful experience with us. We are a firm believer of quality over quantity. Because of this, we only shoot 35 weddings/year. Our clients deserve great quality and a fun, stress-free experience with their wedding photographer.
Our goal with our photography is simple. We make real imagery. We find beauty in a strong colored image. We do not over process our photos with photoshop action fads. We enhance our images, but keep them natural with no crazy effects.
We believe that knowing how to use a camera and making a great picture is important but just part of the process. It is our belief that photography is a collaborative effort between the photographer and their clients. We like to develop a friendship with our clients as well as get to know them as a couple, on a more personal level. This really helps us capture the natural beauty of what is their wedding day.
